The Snowflake Native App Framework was made available to developers in AWS in public preview on October 12, 2023. This means that developers can now start building and testing Snowflake Native Apps in their accounts in AWS. Distribution and monetization capabilities will be available in public preview on AWS later this year.

The Snowflake Native App Framework is a new way to build, distribute, and manage data applications. Snowflake Native Apps are built and run entirely within the Snowflake Data Cloud, which gives them a number of advantages over traditional data applications, including performance, security, and ease of use.

To build a Snowflake Native App, you need to use the Snowflake Native App Framework. This framework provides the tools and libraries you need to develop, deploy, and manage your application.

Once you have developed your Snowflake Native App, you can publish it to the Snowflake Marketplace. This will allow other Snowflake users to discover and install your application.
