I never ever want to have video turned on automatically for Zoom or for my Google Meet calls. I have when these things are defaulted to being on by Default. I mean Google touts how it is such a “do no evil” and we want to be a force for good around privacy. That seems like complete BS since they default the camera to being on. Sure you can manually set it off BUT there is NO DEFAULT Settings I have found to do this easily. I’ve spent like an hour searching. I seriously cannot believe that this is the way it is. Google should change their tagline to …. We will do evil if it makes us more money.
